Roger serves restaurants on a global level with customers in many countries.  He is the founder of the Sales Stars Server Training Program and the author of Rock Your Restaurant, a game-changing guide to restaurant finances, and creator of The Restaurant Rockstars Academy.
He is a successful restaurant entrepreneur who has founded and operated four restaurant/hospitality companies over the past 18 years. He recently sold the Matterhorn Ski Bar in Maine, a seasonal restaurant and bar which generated over $1 million dollars sales in just four months.
While he ran The Matterhorn, it was named “Best Ski Bar USA” by Skiing Magazine and “Classic Ski Bar” by SKI Magazine. The bar also received restaurant accolades from the New York Times, Boston Globe, Frommer’s Travel Guides, Powder Magazine, Yankee Magazine, and other publications over the years.

Roger has a B.S. degree in Business from Bryant College in Rhode Island and an M.B.A. in Business from Babson College in Massachusetts. He is the former president of the Bethel Maine Chamber of Commerce and Board of Directors and a former member of the Maine Restaurant Association Board of Directors.

Roger is a classic car enthusiast, skier, and passionate mountaineer/alpine climber with numerous ascents to his credit, including the Matterhorn in Switzerland and Grand Teton in Wyoming.
He currently lives in Sun Valley, Idaho with his wife, Thea, and two young daughters.  When he isn't coaching, speaking, podcasting, and creating new tools for restaurant owners, you will find him dining out at new restaurants, dancing in the moguls at area ski resorts, ripping it up on his mountain bike in the canyons, cruising around with the top down in one of his classic cars, or playing tennis ball tag with his daughters at the local playground.
He is a speaker, the host of the Restaurant Rockstars Podcast, and is frequently interviewed as an expert guest on other restaurant industry podcasts, as well.
In addition to running one of the industry’s top restaurant consulting firms, Roger also writes a monthly blog for Restaurant Hospitality Magazine online that focuses specifically on restaurant service.
Along with providing turn-key staff and waiter training and financial resources, Roger coaches and consults restaurant owners nationwide.
Knowing that more than 50 percent of restaurants fail, he has a deep passion for helping those hoping to open a restaurant not only survive, but thrive and knock it out of the park!  Roger feels there is no reason for others to make the same mistakes he made 20 years ago when he started his first restaurant. With more than 20 years in the business, he is a genius with restaurant analytics, branding, training, systems, and efficiencies, using his expertise to help restaurateurs create not just restaurants, but BUSINESSES with ROCKSTAR PROFITS!

Here's what others have to say about Roger:

“With 35 years of experience in operating restaurants from top to bottom, I can say Sales Stars Server Training is perfect for any restaurant wanting to increase sales, profits, and their guest’s dining experience. It's perfect for your servers, managers, and guests. Your servers will increase their tips, your guests will have a knowledgeable server providing a great dining experience, and management will have a standard to follow up and train on. If you follow the program, it should pay for itself immediately. Sales Stars Server Training will give you what you need to train the difference.”

~K. Wells, owner and/or manager of casual dining, family dining, and quick-serve restaurants
"The Restaurant Rockstars program has been a great tool to help ensure our guests have a great experience each and every time they visit our establishment, has helped increase sales, and empowered our team members to be their own brand within our brand. We use Restaurant Rockstars as a part of our orientation program, helping get our servers, bartenders, and even management off to a great start. The program helps get all team members on the same page when it comes to treating guests well, how to “assume the sale” when guests walk in, and improves morale overall. Owners and managers will love Restaurant Rockstars because of the sales increase, and team members will love it because their tip increases! Perfect win/win situation! Probably the biggest positive my staff got out of the training was the idea they were their own entrepreneur, starting their own business, without the risk of opening their own business. It really helped our staff buy into our brand and helped them to create their own brand. I highly recommend restaurants use Restaurant Rockstars. Happy guests, happy team, happy owners. What could be better? Thanks for creating a great way to help my business!"

~Christopher Nichols, Chairs Public House
"Roger is a wealth of knowledge with all facets of the restaurant business. Roger freely shares his secrets to running a successful restaurant. Going through his coaching program has been a HUGE help! The end result will pay dividends, which is why we do what we do."

“I have managed restaurants for more than 15 years. The first time I saw Roger’s Sales Stars Training Program, it articulated everything that I struggle to explain to my staff in a very basic, easy-to-understand way. The basic core information sends a clear and meaningful message that every owner, manager, and staffer can relate to: MONEY! The system works and demonstrates how going above and beyond through suggestive selling increases sales and profits and directly impacts tips. When you can show a server or bartender a proven formula to easily increase their personal income by enhancing the guest service experience, I guarantee they will listen!”

~Matt Wolf, Owner/General Manager of Myst in Old Orchard Beach, Maine
“Roger Beaudoin has created a great restaurant staff and waiter training program. It's simple, down to earth, and it works! Roger is a successful industry veteran and his Sales Training Program is a fabulous resource for every restaurant. Roger is the "real deal" and his product is a real value.”

~Dick Grotton, President and Executive Director of the Maine Restaurant Association
